Talk about your holidays for beginners in French

Here are some slides that I have prepared to make my beginners revise some vocabulary after the summer break. Before talking about all things school, we can have the pleasure of remembering our holidays.

These slides can be used with more or less advanced beginners:

• For complete beginners, simply ask them to answer yes or no. For a more active version, ask them to stand for "yes" and stay sitting for "no".

• For beginners already able to make sentences and use negation, answer with a full sentence (oui, j'ai nagé/non, je n'ai pas nagé).

• For more advanced beginners, ask them to give a few details about what they did, where they went, what ice cream flavour they ate...
